OMS Upgrades – Listing Module Redesign and MLS Fields

The new listing module design is scheduled for completion by the end of the month. We gave a sneak preview to this week’s Tech Time Tuesday attendees. For those of you who couldn’t make it, here are a few screen shots and an overview of the functionality.

The streamlined listing module has five collapsible menus, down from the eight tabs currently in use. The Listings Details menu affords easy access to other functionality in addition to updating the description. A click on the address leads to the listing’s property page on the broker site. Click on the main photo and get a QR code that will direct people who scan it to the property page.

There are three options for printing the listing description: a three-photo brochure, a listings details sheet with a map and a listings details information sheet solely for agents.

Listing Module Design
The new streamlined listing module design features five collapsible menus, a reduction from the current eight tabs.

The other four menus can be opened by clicking on the plus sign to their right. The Listing History menu shows a graph of listing views and a list of status changes with the dates the status changed. In the Listing Attachments menu, the broker or agent can upload pictures or documents related to the listing and indicate whether the attachment is available for public display. The Open House Schedule menu contains a calendar where open house events can be entered and viewed. The Listing Notes menu enables the broker or agent to read and add internal information about the property.

Another enhancement we’ve created is the ability to add MLS fields to property listing descriptions. As each MLS is incorporated into the new system, brokers and agents will be able to select the fields that show up in the property listing descriptions. The names of the fields can also be edited. In the example below, “Style” has been changed to “Architecture” and “Spa” will show up as “Hottub.” These fields will be added as filters on the broker websites’ property search results page, as well.

Additional MLS Fields
With the new functionality, you will be able to control the MLS fields that show up in your listing descriptions.

Let us know what you think of the new listing module and MLS upgrades. If you have any questions, we want to hear them, too.

New Blitz Signs

Our on-demand print vendor, Alexander’s Print Advantage, has designed two new blitz signs for Help-U-Sell. You can see the designs and order them at www.brandsawonline.com/helpusell.

These signs are simple and affordable, so they’re perfect for blanketing a target neighborhood to build brand recognition or to use in conjunction with open house signs.

Images of the two versions are below.

You can customize the new Help-U-Sell Real Estate blitz sign with your text and phone number.
Help-U-Sell Blitz Sign with QR Code
Send people directly to your site by using the blitz sign with QR code.

Both signs measure 11.5″ x 17.25″ and are made of heavy-stock cardboard that is gloss laminated on both sides. You can order as few as 25 signs for $40, and 100 signs go for $135. On the QR code sign, you can specify the URL that you want the code to link  to. You might want to create a URL just for your signs to measure how many responses you signs generate. If you’re targeting a neighborhood, why not link to the search results on your site that feature property listings from that area? If you’re looking for sellers, consider linking the QR code to the Seller Savings Calculator. Get creative with where you send your potential clients and think about what would resonate most with them.

We want to hear your ideas and, if you’ve already used the blitz signs, what your successes were.

OMS Upgrades – Dashboard and Listing Module Redesign

We are almost finished upgrading the Office Management System to match your broker and the corporate website redesign and to make the OMS easier to use.

Here is a preview of how the new OMS Dashboard will look. The graphs will be moved below the Alerts in the actual working version.

In the new design, you will also be able to add custom events to the calendar. We expect to have the new Dashboard up and running by the end of the week.

We are also redesigning and streamlining the Listing Module. It will resemble an MLS form, and the number of tabs will reduce from the current eight down to just four.

We want to hear your feedback on the new look and, once it’s live, the functionality of the OMS redesign. Comment below or contact Tony directly.

New Seller Savings Comparison Calculator

We’re about to unveil a new version of the Seller Savings Comparison chart for the broker websites. The new version will allow you to personalize the chart to show your set fee, and your sellers can enter their home’s value and calculate their potential savings.

We have some design work to complete before we recommend adding the page to your site, but here is a preview of the basic structure. In the example, the seller has entered $200,000 as his home’s value, and the broker has a set fee of $3,690 and a showing fee of $2,000.

The new Seller Savings Comparison chart will allow you to enter your office's set fee and your seller to calculate his potential savings.

You can populate the chart with your set fee and showing fee by logging into your OMS, clicking on “Setup” in the drop-down menu and selecting “website” from the submenu. You will add in your set fee and showing fee as shown in the example below.

If you have any questions about how to use the chart or how to fill it in with your set fee and showing fee, please contact us. The chart will be ready for you to publish soon. We will keep you updated.

New Banners for Brokers

After we showed off our new banners from last month’s California REALTOR Expo, we heard requests from our brokers for similar banners aimed toward buyers and sellers. We’ve designed the two banners, one focused on buyers and the other sellers, for you to use at trade shows, events or even in your office.

We’re also working on business cards and two letterhead options, which we’ll get your vote on at next month’s Success Summit. Have you registered to attend yet? If not, go to our Seminars page, scroll down to the registration form, fill it out and select “Help-U-Sell Broker Success Summit” from the drop-down menu. We want to see you in Anaheim!
