October Top Producers, 2024

“In October any wonderful unexpected thing might be possible.” – Elizabeth George Speare

You get used to things a certain way. You conduct business, knowing with certainty what some things are and always will be. We know some things change constantly: the market, mortgage rates, hot trends in design and decor. Other stuff is always the same, until the day the “certain” thing changes.

Help-U-Sell Real Estate is no exception. The original disruptor in real estate for nearly five decades, we have seen quite a bit of change. We have endured resistance from fellow real estate professionals angry over the low set fee instead of the traditional six percent commission. We watched lower fee competitors shuffle in and fail after a few years. We are still here.

October brought about the biggest change we have seen internally in a long time – a change of business ownership. We already know what Robbie Stevens is capable of manifesting from his time as the CEO. We expect 2025 to be a time of motivation and innovation, all of which will be aimed at renewing the Help-U-Sell name as the trusted mainstay in in home seller savings that has been since day one.

That was definitely unexpected! We look forward to more wonderful.

Top Producers 9 Month Review, 2024

“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.” – Mark Twain

By the time we wrap up three quarters – nine whole months – it feels like the world simply rushes through October in anticipation of the holiday season, and bypasses the present to start planning the year ahead. While it is prudent to forecast the year ahead for business planning, don’t defer to the future at the expense of the present when it comes to making today count.

There are still postcards and emails to send, calls to make, networking events and client “pop bys” to appear at, and, of course, houses to buy and sell.

Procrastination IS tempting. Then there are those Brokers with the numbers to show that time waits for no one.

Jack Bailey

Our number one Eagle in the third quarter is Jack Bailey, and the team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina. They have taken the present moment and pushed it to impressive heights. So far, and we have 102 reasons (or sides) for evidence.

In the second place position for Q3: Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Masters in Port Huron, Michigan. Jeff’s team has contributed to a robust Michigan market with 66 sides.

Just five sides behind in third place, we find Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate of Steele County Inc., in Owatonna, Minnesota. Deb’s team show up with 61 sides for our 9 month report.

September Top Producers 2024

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” — F. Scott Fitzgerald

With a non-stop wild news cycle of the changes that came to home selling and buying agreements in August, it seemed like many markets came to a screeching halt while folks figured out what those changes meant. There were a lot of misconceptions, and thus a lot of information campaigns to make sure the correct information made it to the right audience.

One benefit of being a Help-U-Sell Real Estate office is the ability to say: We have been upfront about the pricing of our services for nearly 5 decades, because transparency is what the original disruption was based upon.

Proudly so.

While many grappled with how to proceed amongst the new uncertainty, we continued doing what we have always done best: Provide accurate information, professional insight and world class service for clients to make informed decisions in their best interest for a fair price. As such, we will continue to march forward setting and maintaining the standard.

Marching all the way to number one is Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties, in Chino Hills, California. With seven sides to the title, there are some sweet seller savings in hand for ALL seven sides.

The second spot was scored by Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Masters in Port Huron, Michigan. The crew at Jeff’s office  brought in five for September.

Third place is a tie between Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina, and Danny Kettle of Help-U-Sell Legacy in Layton, Utah. Both teams brought in four each.

August 2024 Top Producers

“Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance, and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun.” – Kent Nerburn

Sweeping changes to how real estate is bought and sold went into effect during the month of August, as a result of ongoing lawsuits and settlements over commissions paid from the home seller to the buyer’s agent. It was predicted that many would be sellers were holding out from putting their homes on the market, fearful that the new rules would be confusing or misunderstood.

Did these new protocols make an impact on home sales? Absolutely it did. So did many other buyer concerns about mortgage interest rates, inflation, and even the pending election. Couple all of that with summer being the slowest time for home sales historically, and you have as many answers as you need to explain a sluggish current housing market.

Yet, some fields will blossom and surprise us anyway.

In the top spot for our last month of summer we find Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Masters in Port Huron, Michigan. Jeff and company brought in nine sides for the end of summer sign off. A lucky seven of the nine sides were sellers, ensuring substantial savings.

Second by just a smidge for August is Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina. The Greensboro crew were just one side shy from the top spot for August with eight total sides.

Jack Bailey

Third place goes to Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate of Steele County Inc. in Owatonna, Minnesota. With a nearly even split between buyers and sellers, Debra’s team placed seven on the board.
