Top Producers Q4 2020

The final quarter of 2020 was incredibly turbulent for many industries, but for real estate, several owners in the Help-U-Sell family could not keep houses listed for more than a few days.

People were looking to escape smaller city dwellings. They yearned to stretch out, and were taking off for bigger homes, smaller crowds, and much wider open spaces. That mad flurry of activity is best illustrated by our top two producers in the fourth quarter, both of whom run offices in more spacious states. First place is a tie, of course.

Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina, and Jeffrey Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Masters in Port Huron, Michigan, both total 41 sides. It is worth noting, both gentlemen have an active approach when it comes to training agents. They are constantly evolving best practices over time and making adjustments, curating the betterment and abilities of agents on their team to better serve future clients. It is worth paying attention to what they do and how they do it.

Second-place finds us with another tie. Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate in Owatonna, Minnesota, and Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California. Both offices narrowly missed first place with total 38 sides for Q4. It’s really cool to see so much momentum.

The singular (no tie) honor for third place goes to Mario Ferrante at Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, Michigan. Mario has been a staple on our Top Producers list for so long, it’s more surprising when he’s not on it. For the last quarter, his team closed 34 sides.

On the Gross Sales Volume report, Patrick Wood from Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California, once again takes our number one spot with $27.7 million in sales.

Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii clinches second place for the fourth quarter. His team’s efforts created $20.1 million in gross sales and likely many “maholos” from clients who saved several thousand dollars in commissions.

In third place is our favorite coach in North Carolina: Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro. The 41 sides his team garnered for the quarter resulted in a gross sales volume of $8.5 million.

When life got quiet in the middle of a pandemic-ridden March last year, many of us held our breath and just continued to do what we know how to do best. Seasoned brokers and agents have witnessed many downward spirals in real estate, as well as benefited from riding the coattails of robust and thriving markets. Being able to adjust to the changing circumstances, continuing to work hard and show up (even virtually) for clients, and still prosper is the difference between people who love real estate, and people who went into it as a side gig or hobby. You all are real estate professionals. You love this business. It shows.

December 2020 Top Producers

December is traditionally a busy month for everyone for dozens of non-real estate reasons, but our Eagles were making one final push for a phenomenal ending to an otherwise odd and worrisome 2020. Despite obstacles, they made the last Top Producers list of the year noteworthy.

Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California enjoys a perpetual residence amongst our top offices. He comes in first place with 19 total sides. 17 of those sides were from sellers, and coupled with one of the busiest markets in the country, it’s no surprise seeing home sellers take advantage of the hot selling season.

Jack Bailey and his team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro take second place for December with 12 sides. North Carolina home sellers were also eager to pocket equity in the process of selling, and no one makes saving clients money look easier and more polished than Jack.

Third place is a three-way tie! Our favorite! Mike Bowling of Help-U-Sell Mike Bowling in Yuma, Arizona, Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Kimberly Zelena of Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate in Waynesboro, Virginia, each closed 10 sides a piece.

4th Place is another tie with nine sides each for Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Masters in Port Huron, Michigan, and Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate in Owatonna, Minnesota.

All in all, an impressive turnout during a time of both continued uncertainty and bundled together with the holiday season. No problem for our Help-U-Sell family!

Patrick Wood seals top place again – by many long miles – with the help of his team at Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California. With a gross sales volume of $15.4 million – just for December, mind you – they are cranking out first rate success.

Second place brings the spirit of aloha with Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii. The efforts of Richard and his team for just the months totaled $10 million.

Top Producers, November 2020

Wow! When we were first facing the reality of the pandemic, time felt like it came to a standstill and oftentimes dragged out slowly while we waited with baited breath for “what was next”. By extreme contrast, the last few weeks of 2020 have seemingly whizzed by in the blink! It’s pretty safe to say that we are all incredibly grateful to see this odd and obstacle-laden year come to a close.

We are, of course, very lucky that real estate had suffered only a temporary hit, rather than what we feared in the beginning of this epic change. Since then, what we have witnessed amongst some of our Broker/Owners at Help-U-Sell Real Estate has been nothing short of impressive. For November, we are seeing the fruits of labor from those who have fine-tuned their game to accommodate the changes foisted upon us as a result of covid-19. These numbers make it tough to tell they were even working outside of normal circumstances!

In first place is Jack Bailey and his team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina with 18 sides (an even nine and nine split). Jack’s office runs like a well oiled machine – and being perpetually in the top three on our Top Producers list proves it.

Debra Schmidt takes second place for the second month in a row with the help of her team at Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate of Steele County in Owatonna, MN. They closed 14 houses for November, and we suspect this office will make our top ten for the year.

Third place goes to Mario Ferrante and his team at Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, Michigan. With 12 sides for the month, he remains a top contender for the year.

On our Gross Sales Volume report, Patrick Wood from Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California has sprung into first place after alternating between second and third for much of the year. Patrick’s team closed $7.8M in sales for November.

Jack Bailey swoops into second place with his team from Help-U-Sell Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina. While number one for sides, coming in second meant closing nearly $4M is sales.

In third place is Ed and Julie Wright of Help-U-Sell Wright in Aliso Viejo, CA. The subject of a Broker/Owner profile last year, this dynamic husband and wife duo closed November with $3.5M in sales, proving they are stronger together.

November is when we traditionally look around and count our blessings as reasons to be thankful. We rightfully count important things like the health and happiness of loved ones, a stable home and income, and peace within and with others. It’s also a good time to recognize traits that are easy to overlook as blessings: resilience, ingenuity, determination, kindness, honesty, and goodness. Stuff that makes for great real estate professionals, and great people in general. Thanks to all of you for demonstrating those things.

Top Producers 9-Month Review 2020

The Nine Month Review of our Top Producers Report is like a preview of coming attractions for how the last quarter of the year will go. Prognosis: pretty good! While there were (and still are) a ton of mitigating factors to consider, our broker/owners persevered and overcame the obstacles that the pandemic created while everyone figured everything out. And you did!

It could be that our Top Eagle in 2019 might be number one again for 2020. Mario Ferrante of Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, Michigan is at the top with a total of 93 sides. Spring was slower, but his team more than made up for it over the summer.

Very close behind in second place is Jack Bailey and his team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina. Just 5 sides behind first place, there is a chance they could still come out on top by the close of the year. Exciting!

Kimber Regan’s team at Help-U-Sell The Smart Choice in Hanford, California is in third place with 83 sides – again just five behind second! Five is the new magic number.

With only one tie for a change, we cut the list off at 11 for this report to make sure it included everyone who sealed a deal on 50 or greater sides in these last nine months. For our smaller offices who handle most everything and anything solo or team of two, this means that during the worst of circumstances, they continued to work around, work hard and still shine. If it averages out to one closing a week, that is STAYING busy.

On our Gross Sales Volume report, Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California soars to the top with over $44.8 million in sales. This goes along quite nicely with his 74 sides, thank you very much.

Richard Criccio and his team at Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Hawaii secure second place with about a million less, which sounds funny in any other business that isn’t real estate. But $43.8 million in sales is no laughing matter and neither are the 62 sides that got him there, either!

Kimber Regan’s team at Help-U-Sell The Smart Choice in Hanford, California is in third place here as well, with $19.7 million in sales. She has been having a terrific year and we’re aiming for a Broker Spotlight on her as soon as we can catch her for an interview.

We know good real estate folks are engineered to weather the severe ups and downs that affect our market and our success. So we have to hand it to all of you here: you’ve taken a weird set of circumstances, embraced it, and made it work.

July Top Producers 2020

July turned out to be a bit of a scorcher for more than weather-related reasons. The Top Producers list for July 2020 has revealed a decent uptick in activity from a slower summer due to Covid-19. Why? Quite simply: lack of inventory created fast sales.

With many sellers still hesitant to take a chance to pick up and move, coupled with the looming uncertainty of job instability and the economy, the houses that are being put on the market are being snapped up very quickly. That urgency is reflected in our July report.

Back at the top of our list is Mario Ferrante of Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, MI. Bringing in a total of 16 sides for the month, it would seem many of his sellers took advantage of the hot market to make a quick sale.

Coming in just two sales shy of first place is Debra Schmidt and her team at Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate of Steele County. Keeping busy in Owatonna, MN, Deborah’s team was a close second with a total of 14 sides.

In third place for July is a tie between Jack Bailey’s team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro in NC, and Matt Kellam of Help-U-Sell Keystone Realty in Chambersburg, PA. Both offices close out July with 11 total sides.

Of course, we always have more ties than we know what to do with. Karen Detweiler of Help-U-Sell Detwiler Realty in Carlisle, PA and Kimber Regan of Help-U-Sell The Smart Choice in Hanford, CA brought in ten sides each.

Second place lands at the doorstep of Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California. His team closed $4.6 million in sales.

In third place is Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina with $2.7 million for July.

Although there has never been a tie in our Gross Sales Volume report, and likely never will be, having three offices rank with $70,000 of one another is likely as close as we ever get. Still really cool, though.
