November Top Producers 2021

When the holiday season begins in earnest, we often take time to reflect on ourselves by taking stock in what we have to be grateful for in our lives. Health and family are always at the top, of course, but furthering business goals and reaching them is worth celebrating, too. Especially when you consider how much hard work goes into making that happen. Before the big “end of year” reports come in for December and 2021, here is November Top Producers!

Mario Ferrante of Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, Michigan scores the top spot for November with 11 total sides. Eight came from sellers, which means the home sellers in Wayne County are saving a bundle.

Coming in at a very close second with ten sides is Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Masters of Port Huron, Michigan. A perfect split of five and five between buyers and sellers means Jeff’s team is working on all those leads pretty evenly.

Third place is a tie between Kim Zelena and her team at Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate in Waynesboro, Virginia, and Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties of Oahu, Hawaii. Both offices had eight sides for the month.

Fourth place is a three-way tie between Maria Powell of Help-U-Sell Galleria of Tucson, Arizona, Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California, and Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Real Estate of Steele County in Owatonna, Minnesota. Each office hit lucky number seven.

It wouldn’t be a Top Producer’s Report without a bunch of ties. Fifth and sixth places prove how busy November can be and we are grateful for that!

On the Gross Sales Volume report, naturally we see familiar faces and surprises.

Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, clocks in with $5.8 million in sales for November to nab first place. That he has clinched the top spot by nearly $3 million is a testament to the strength of California’s ongoing durability on the real estate market.

Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties

In second place we find our regular big kahuna, Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties. He finishes the month with $2.8 million.

A surprise (but not surprising) rise into third place with $2.5 million in sales was made by Danny Kettle of Help-U-Sell Legacy in Layton, Utah. He’s been making a lot of appearances in 2021 here because Utah has become a hot market!

With just one more set of reports to finish out 2021, we wish all of you a lovely end of the season and year.

Top Producers July 2021

The July Top Producers Report has home sellers declaring independence from high-priced, traditional real estate commissions and choosing to save thousands of their earned equity by opting for a local expert next door from Help-U-Sell Real Estate instead. As the housing market continues to smolder for sellers, the number of days a listing stays on the market has stretched out a bit longer, giving more buyers a chance to zero in on buying a home after a year plus of breakneck competition and bidding wars.

Jack Bailey, Help-U-Sell Greensboro

At the top of this summer swelter is our Eagle-In-Residence, Broker/Owners Jack Bailey and his team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro in North Carolina. Coming in at 14 sides for July, 11 of those sides were from sellers, and that is something cool for clients no matter how hot the savings are.

Second place is a tie between two other very familiar faces. Mario Ferrante of Help-U-Sell Metropolitan in Woodhaven, Michigan, and Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California. Both gentlemen scored 12 sides per office and a high five to share.

Kimberly Zelena, Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate

In third place is Kimberly Zelena and her team at Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate in Waynesboro, Virginia. With eight sides over a month that begins with a holiday weekend, that’s an average of two closings a week.

Out in the middle of our country lies another tie in fourth place between Lana Erwin at Help-U-Sell Edmond/OKC in Edmond, Oklahoma and Danny Kettle at Help-U-Sell Legacy in Layton, Utah. Both with smaller shops, they closed 7 sides each and prove you don’t need to have a large team to make a big impact.

There are multiple sets of ties for fifth and sixth place. The more the merrier, so please keep it up!

Over here on the Gross Sales Volume Report is a familiar face and then a few surprise ladder climbers.

Naturally, we find Patrick Wood and his team at  Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California in the first slot. To say they are usually crushing it is the understatement of the Top Producers report, and they do so in July with just over $9 million in sales.

Our second place surprise comes in the form of Ronny Thompson at Help-U-Sell 951 Realty. While popping up on our list periodically has put them on a “one to watch” list, with $5.9 million in sales for the month we have to take notice!

In third place is Danny Kettle of Help-U-Sell Legacy in Layton, Utah. Danny and his team have been a pretty strong presence throughout the year so far. With $3.9 million in sales for July and a 4th place tie on the sides report, he’s clearing a path to where the Help-U-Sell eagles soar with sales.

We wish all of you continued success in summer sales and look forward to seeing who surprises us next month.

December 2020 Top Producers

December is traditionally a busy month for everyone for dozens of non-real estate reasons, but our Eagles were making one final push for a phenomenal ending to an otherwise odd and worrisome 2020. Despite obstacles, they made the last Top Producers list of the year noteworthy.

Patrick Wood of Help-U-Sell Prestige Properties in Chino Hills, California enjoys a perpetual residence amongst our top offices. He comes in first place with 19 total sides. 17 of those sides were from sellers, and coupled with one of the busiest markets in the country, it’s no surprise seeing home sellers take advantage of the hot selling season.

Jack Bailey and his team at Help-U-Sell Greensboro take second place for December with 12 sides. North Carolina home sellers were also eager to pocket equity in the process of selling, and no one makes saving clients money look easier and more polished than Jack.

Third place is a three-way tie! Our favorite! Mike Bowling of Help-U-Sell Mike Bowling in Yuma, Arizona,  Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Kimberly Zelena of Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate in Waynesboro, Virginia, each closed 10 sides a piece.

4th Place is another tie with nine sides each for Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Masters in Port Huron, Michigan, and Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate in Owatonna, Minnesota.

All in all, an impressive turnout during a time of both continued uncertainty and bundled together with the holiday season. No problem for our Help-U-Sell family!

Second place brings the spirit of aloha with Richard Cricchio of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii. The efforts of Richard and his team for just the months totaled $10 million.

Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate's Debra Schmidt

Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate ascends to third place with $2.5 million for the month and making December count with a place on both reports.

March Top Producers 2020

Spring has sprung!

Even if we are indoors far more than usual (and certainly more than we would prefer), we, as an industry, as business owners, and individuals in real estate, have rallied by finding new ways to innovate, work-around, and create flexible solutions in order to achieve the goal of selling and buying houses for our clients. Considering the quick and dramatic changes to protocols to protect one another, it would have been natural to presume that our numbers would have taken a hit for the March Top Producers report. Not so!

Starting off in the number one spot, is Debra Schmidt of Help-U-Sell Heritage Real Estate in Owatonna, MN. Her team made a perfectly even split between buyer and seller sides for a total of ten. A super strong month!

The second spot is a three-way tie between David Bartels of Help-U-Sell Full Service Realty in Westlake Village, CA ,Kimberly Zelena of Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate in Waynesboro, VA, and Jack Bailey of Help-U-Sell Greensboro in Greensboro, NC. All three offices came in with nine total sides.

Third place is yet another tie between Jeff Hedberg of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Masters in Port Huron, MI, and Roberta Pickens of Help-U-Sell Treasure Coast in Hobe Sound. Both offices closed eight sides.

Fourth place boasts a tie with two offices, and fifth place has a tie with FIVE offices.

March madness indeed!

In our Gross Sales Volume report, it would be a lot more miraculous if we managed to have a tie here.

First place is David Bartels and Help-U-Sell Full Service Realty. His team closed $5.3 million. Considering his office was in second place for Sides, March was a great month for them.

Yasumi Davis of Help-U-Sell Golden Homes in Martinez, CA, cleared $2.9 million for the month. Yasumi has been a frequent flier on our Top Producers list in the past year, and has been consistently putting up stronger numbers.

Perpetual eagle, Richard Cricchio, of Help-U-Sell Honolulu Properties and his team brought in $2.2 million and take third place.

Considering the shock to our collective business systems, our ability to revamp on short notice is evident here. You persevered and did well. Please take a moment to appreciate your collective accomplishments and one another.

Not Business as Usual, But Open for Business

With the “sheltering in place” and quarantine orders extended until the end of April, one thing we still know is: lots of people still need to sell and buy homes. With an eye towards social distancing, the real estate  industry, and Help-U-Sell Real Estate “Experts Next Door” in particular, have changed business practices to adjust to current safety procedures and protocols.

Some states have already had real estate deemed as an essential business, which provides some leeway as we strive to continue to serve our clients. Creativity in overcoming obstacles and problem solving is the theme of the day. Naturally, technology plays an enormous part. Whether working virtually, or with key staff rotating in the actual office, we are committed to continuing work for you in every way we safely can.

John Powell

“We are doing real estate in a different way. This is still a perfect opportunity to create new connections and reaffirm old ones. We are calling our previous clients to check in on them, and see if they need anything, especially if they are unable to leave home. We are recording our listing presentations and buyer consultations to have them handy to email to our current leads.”  – John Powell, Broker and Chief Development Officer, Help-U-Sell Real Estate Headquarters

“I’ve remodeled my business entirely. I’ve been doing listing presentations via GoToMeeting, and either going to the property to sign listing agreements or conducting it via DocuSign. I have had transactions where I do not see the seller until settlement time. Sometimes I have not seen them in person at all.” – Walt Hippuaf, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Peoples Real Estate, Philadelphia, PA

Kimberly Zelena, Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate

“One of our agents walked through the house live with the client using GoogleDuo. She recorded a video, uploaded it to where the house is listed for other potential buyers to view it. Closings are limited to ten people or fewer – only the people who absolutely have to be there.” – Kimberly Zelena, Owner, Help-U-Sell Direct Savings Real Estate, Waynesboro, VA

“We moved up closings as quickly as possible for two of our elderly clients. We had the escrow officer go out and sign a client yesterday, and a mobile notary visited another client to get the job done. I’m doing as much as I can on my own. For example, my new phone takes great wide angle photos and video. I’m filming my listings, and post regularly on social media.” – Lona Lassen Murphy, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Oregon, Eugene, OR

“Two of my recent clients, sisters buying condos in the same building, closed yesterday. One could not be in state at all. The tours, the inspection, and the final walk through were all done virtually. During the inspections, I was there, live on FaceTime so she was able to ask questions. The closings were done via email and with e-signatures. Electronic and mobile notaries were approved in Florida this year and that helps a lot.” – Chantell Stevens, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Gulf Coast, Sarasota, FL

“We invested in the cameras to do high quality photos and virtual tours. The majority of people now view home listings on their phone, so we wanted to ensure they have the best viewing experience we can provide from where they are.” – John Metcalf, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Inland Valley, Lake Elsinor, CA

“We are moving closing dates up to help clients close faster. Showing houses is still possible with the CBS (call before showing) code, and assigning a special window to view the home. No one else is allowed in during that time. Both safety and security are increased.” – Yasumi Davis, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Golden Homes, Martinez, CA

“The market here is almost business as normal. Yesterday there were 22 new listings and 11 active contracts. Buyers and sellers who feel like they need to go are allowing showings, but no open houses, of course. It feels like a rainy day open house: you know there won’t be much traffic, but what you do get will be serious. I am telling sellers who haven’t listed yet to get everything ready in advance, so when the restrictions are lifted they will be ready for the burst of opportunity that is bound to happen.” – David Bartels, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Full Service Realty, Westlake Village, CA

“Homes that are vacant are a gold mine, but when they are not, we’ve found virtual tours have been the most helpful.” – Kurt Steffien, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Coast and Valley, Santa Ana, CA

“I have been able to work via text and email.  In one case I drove to escrow to drop off signed documents that had to have a wet signature. I wore an N95 mask, gloves, and used hand sanitizer.” – Raul Novales, Broker/Owner, Help-U-Sell Wisdom Realty, Ontario, CA
